A civil registrar ceremony is a non-religious legal marriage ceremony performed by a government official or functionary. In the UK, this person is normally called a registrar.Notice of intention to enter into a Civil Marriage must be given in the district in which you reside. After giving notice you must wait a further twenty eight clear days before the signing of the Civil Marriage Schedule can take place. A Notice is valid for twelve months.
It is the responsibility of the couple wishing to register for marriage to contact the Wrexham Registry Office. Due to legal requirements your Wedding Coordinator is unable to arrange this part of your day. It is advisable that you check availability of the local registrars straightaway if not before you choose to look at venues.

Registry offices are open to visitors between 8.45am and 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45 to 4.45 on a Friday or you can contact them by telephone between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
