Booking Conditions:
| How to book |
| Having discussed all your requirements
and the date, all you have to do is place a provisional booking with us, stating the
minimum number of guests. Within 14 days of placing the
provisional booking, we would require a deposit of 10% of the total payable, plus written
confirmation.
Should we not receive a deposit within 14 days, we will be
obliged to release the provisional booking. |
| Deposits are
not refundable |
| Approximately 3 months before the date
of the event, an appointment should be made to confirm and dicuss the essentials of the
day. One month before the event we require written
confirmation of potential numbers. 14 days before the event the bill is to be
settled in full, based on expected numbers. Extras are to be paid for on the day. |
| Prices |
| Prices are correct at the time of going
to press, but may be subject to change. Firm prices for food and beverages are
established where possible three months prior to the function. All prices are
inclusive of the current rate of VAT. We do not make a charge for service as we believe
you should have the right to reward good service personally. |
| Cancellation
Policy |
If you unfortunately have to cancel you
event, we will require written confirmation of the cancellation, which we in turn will
acknowledge in writing. The following changes will apply:
| 30% of the expected bill if The Holt Lodge Hotel is given less
than 4 (four) months notice. |
| 60% of the expected bill if The Holt Lodge Hotel is given less
than 2 (two) months notice. |

| Cancellation
by the Holt Lodge Hotel |
The Holt Lodge Hotel may cancel the
booking if:
- The Hotel or any part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond
its control.
- The client is in arears with any payment to The Holt Lodge Hotel.
- The booking might prejudice the reputation or cause damage to the
Hotel. In such an event, The Holt Lodge Hotel will refund any advance payment and
have no further liability to the client.
