Whether it's a buffet and disco you are looking for, a sit down meal or a
dinner dance, here at Holt Lodge we can cater for a variety of events.

from £7.95 per person.
We can do hot
and cold finger buffets, fork buffets or 1/2/3 course meals.

We are proud to be licensed to hold Civil Marriages in both our Garden Lounge and Orchard Suite. Our two stylish function rooms offer you a choice of Wedding Reception from the Civil Ceremony, through to an Afternoon and Evening Reception.

of food in addition to our flexibility with menus. You will find a wide
variety of options detailed on this site, but please ask if you have
a special request, and we will do our best to facilitate you.
Our Gardens are perfect for photographs, which will leave you with lasting memories of your special day.
Civil Wedding at Holt Lodge
Being married in our Hotel has many advantages, the most important being convenience to you and your guests. Easy access to the hotel, and a beautiful setting without the need to travel between venues, can only help in making your special day perfect.
We will provide you with two pedestals of fresh flower arrangements to add that special touch to the ceremony of your choice.
Once you have made provisional arrangements with us, you must contact the Registrar's office and check their availability for your chosen date. Please note that there is a room hire charge for Civil Ceremonies paid in addition to those fees paid directly to the registrar.

Afternoon and Evening Receptions
Organising your own Wedding Day should be an exciting and enjoyable experience. Our staff are happy to help in any way we can and will guide you through your day at the Holt Lodge.
An afternoon or early evening Reception with a traditional Wedding Breakfast is very popular, followed by an evening disco and buffet.
The Garden Lounge
The garden Lounge is suitable for both afternoon and evening receptions.

We can accommodate for up to 100 guests in this function room. We can also provide a marquee extension should you wish to invite extra guests, the cost of which can be provided on request. |
The Orchard Suite
The Orchard Suite is ideal for smaller gatherings for up to 40 guests. With it's own bar, it provides the perfect venue for a traditional Wedding Breakfast, perhaps followed by a larger evening reception in our Garden Lounge.
Table Arrangements & Seating Plans
Once you have decided upon your final numbers and which of our two function rooms you would like, we can give you advice as to which table layout would suit the room best. A copy of your seating plan can be produced for you as part of your wedding package.
We are also happy to give advice on table and room decorations, and can organise this for you if you wish. Please ask for more details.

Accommodation
For guests attending your wedding, we are pleased to offer special accommodation rates (approximately 10% discount). Our usual booking conditions apply.
We are sure that both you and your guests will recognise the advantages of staying at the wedding reception venue. No need to arrange transport or book taxis home.
Here at the Holt Lodge Hotel, we have 36 stylish bedrooms. All our rooms are en suite, with remote control satellite television, direct dial telephone, ironing board, hair dryer, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities.
| If you book both the afternoon and evening receptions with us and wish to stay overnight, we are delighted to offer you our Luxury Room complete with four poster bed and Jacuzzi bath, entirely free of charge. We can also arrange flowers and champagne for your room if you wish. |
All accommdation rates include rates include breakfast. Cereal, toast, fruit juices, tea or coffee and a full Welsh Breakfast are all served in our sophisticated new restaurant, Rafters.
